Tourist review: I was drawn in by the line forming outside, and “Tasty! Quick! Value!” The line might seem long, but it goes by fast. An attendant will seat you once you’re near the front of the queue outside. You use a tablet to order, and when your food is ready, you pick it up at the counter with your “Like Card.” I really liked my short ribs and brisket set (medium). You can customize your own sauce as well. At the end, you pay with a QR code on the “Like Card” at the kiosk. Overall, loved the efficiency and novelty of cooking my own beef for a quick lunch!

Grill yourself or as a couple, for cheap! You get seated, order a meal or individual items on a tablet. After a bit, you get a message to pick up your food, and to start the grill. Grill, and eat fresh meat, yum. The staff wad super helpful for my parents on their first time in Japan, so don't worry.
Yakiniku Like in Sapporo Tanukiko-ji is one of my favourite Japanese chains. I love the concept – you get your own little grill and can enjoy delicious meat all by yourself or as a couple. It’s fun, super tasty, and really affordable. I had lots of the wagyu beef this time, and it was incredibly good. They’ve got all sorts of meat to choose from, and it’s just such a great spot if you’re craving yakiniku.
This is the greatest option if you want to eat some roasted meat without going over budget—I have tried it before in Kagoshima. Though the specialty is individual roasted beef, the store also has tables that can accommodate one or two people. The meat, which comes with a variety of sauces and extremely tasty Japanese rice, can only be described as average in quality. It truly is a unique treat. You will not have to worry about language barriers because the staff will assist you in switching between the Chinese and English menus, and self-checkout makes it even easier!
